Easton are widely recognized for their one-piece composite hockey sticks and it is the most used brand of hockey stick in the National Hockey League due to their high performance level and durability. The company also manufactures hockey skates, shin guards, hockey pants, shoulder pads, elbow pads, neck guards, and helmets, as well as hockey training attire and clothing.
To fill the void caused by the lack of an online destination for Hockey enthusiasts to discuss the love of the game, Easton created the My Easton Community. In its purest form, it’s a social network that allows Hocky fans, parents, coaches and players to create specialized profiles, join groups and upload photos and videos.
The challenge in creating a site this large was a three week design phase, while integrating it seamlessly into Easton Hockey’s existing marketing site. Both were successfully executed, with the launch being approximately six weeks later.
